As the result of a barter arrangement between us and friends Nick and Julia, we just spent a delightful four days on the Costa del Sol, just over an hour by car from Ronda. We were based in Casares Costa, but also spent time in Puerto de la Duquesa, Sabinillas, El Castillo, Manilva and Estepona.

Pablo de Ronda fell in love with Ronda the first time he visited in August 2000. By 2005 he owned an apartment and a house in the Barrio San Francisco. He had also done up a house in town for his girlfriend of the time. In 2008, single again, he met the girl of his dreams and moved out to live permanently in the Ronda area.
